Employment History:
Team Treehouse UX Design Tech Degree - 2020
I have always been passionate about UX design, and in 2020, I completed the Team Treehouse UX Design Tech Degree. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, as I love learning new tools, technologies, and approaches. I am particularly drawn to problem-solving and taking projects from initial concepts through multiple iterations to see the final outcome come to life.
Pos Sol 2018 - present
As a Graphic Designer at an agency, I create both print and digital designs across a wide range of media. My work includes magazine adverts, posters, web graphics, pull-up banners, vehicle graphics, branding and identity, websites, e-shots, leaflets, flyers, t-shirts, signage, booklets, brochures, newspapers, newsletters, infographics, and social media graphics. I take projects from initial concept through to final delivery, collaborating closely with clients to ensure the design meets their vision and objectives.
Nelson & Colne College 2017 - 2018
As an in-house Graphic Designer, I created a variety of materials for college events, including posters, pull-up banners, and digital signage. I collaborated closely with another Graphic Designer and the Marketing Team to ensure all designs aligned with the college’s branding. I also supported events on-site, helping bring projects from concept to execution.
We Love Creative 2014 - 2017
At a small agency of around six people, I worked as the Graphic Designer and also contributed to website projects on WordPress. I created a wide range of design media for a variety of clients, including pull-up banners, branding and identity, websites, e-shots, leaflets, flyers, t-shirts, signage, booklets, brochures, newspapers, newsletters, vehicle graphics, infographics, and social media graphics. My client experience spanned industries such as pest control, energy management, lighting, and food. I regularly communicated with clients by phone, email, and in person to understand their requirements and ensure their vision was realized.
Workhouse Marketing May 2013 - August 2013
In this temporary role, I gained valuable hands-on experience working on brochures, signage, and branding projects, contributing to the company’s visual communications and marketing materials.
The Messenger Magazine 2012 - 2013
