Chantelle Lighting

Brief: Design a new brand identity for a local lighting company and deliver it through mix medias every month.
Solution: Research other lighting and furniture companies to look at their branding/marketing materials and how  they stand out to their target audience.
Outcome: Logo design / branding, exhibition graphics, e-shots, social graphics, van graphics, newsletters, newspapers, event merchandise. Liaising with some photographers on photoshoots for the lighting.

After the logo was decided by the client it was then applied across mix media from print to digital.
Brochure design
Brief: To design a lighting booklet for hotel/restaurant owners.
Solution: For this specific project I developed a 12 page brochure for hotel/restaurant lighting. The development in this specific project was the page layouts/ where the photography would stand out the most and which photos to use as large eye catching images.
Outcome: An A4 landscape booklet that was either posted out or given to hotel/restaurant owners. So they can get inspiration and buy specific lighting, buy contacting the company Chantelle.
Problems I found with this brief: They wanted all the images in, but they wouldn't all fit. To resolve this I suggested to pick out a handful of the best ones for each lighting project.
A few sketches of how the pages could look before I jumped in to designing on the computer, figuring out where to put text and images.
Van Graphics

Designed the Chantelle van, with their eye-catching lighting photos on the side
Newspaper
Brief: This project was the Chantelle seasonal newspaper, showing the latest trends/stories etc. The client loved the images bold and big as this was the main statement. I sketched page layouts and showed how they could work within the newspaper. The newspaper ranged from 8 -16 pages, clients would receive them in the post.
Solution: Make the images as big and eye-catching as possible with fonts that suit and colour palettes that match.
Outcome: 4 newspapers per year given out to customers
Overview: If I was to do this project again, I would maybe do it digitally as a flip book or even an app that the user can swipe through the pages.
Exhibition Stand
Brief: Create and exhibition stand for Chantelle event.
Solution: I created the exhibition stand with the intention that the logo was big and bold but also the typography was as well. On the other side of the stand was the beautiful photography that did the talking.
Outcome: 2 x exhibition stand graphics, with bold eye-catching imagery on both sides.
Overview: If I was to do this project again I would maybe put 2 x big eye-catching photos on each side with the logo and then if the customer is interested they would go to the stand and get more information.

Full Company Overview:  If I was to do this again I would refresh their current website and introduce selling their products on their website and also create an app for this. I would also create another app on where the customers can create mood boards so they can view the fitting and what elements would go with them.
